There’s a positive take to everything, like bad stand up comedy; it serves to make everyone in the audience feel a lot funnier than the guy on stage. And unlike art and poetry and music, etc, Comedy is not entitled to an excuse of artistic freedom or expression. Your job is to please the audience…that’s it.
